Our History

Zoe Paris Foundation (ZPF) was founded by Light Jachike in 2016. ZPF was birth from a thought to do more and to impact humanity from where we are with a core mandate to reach out to less privileged people including those living with disabilities.

According to the law under Section 590 of the Companies and Allied Matters Act, Cap C20 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria 2010, Zoe Paris Foundation got her incorporation with the Corporates Affairs Commission (CAC) in April 2018. The Board of Directors are Light Jachike, Stanley Akhigbe Ogedengbe, Adaeze Ruth Ndu, Osaivbie Rosemary Eno-Ekhator and Joe Loadedman Adie. ZPF has over 35 registered volunteers who make the work we do effortless.

Nearly 3 years since Zoe Paris Foundation was founded, she has maintained her commitment to helping the less privileged by facilitating programmes with the team of directors and volunteers to achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 1, 2,3,4,&10 No poverty, Zero Hunger, Good Health &Well-being, Quality Education and Reduced Inequalities respectively. Since her first outreach tagged “Ability in Disability” #AID1 held on the 22nd of January, 2017 at the Centre for Destitute Empowerment, Idimu, Lagos, each project from AIDs to community outreaches to Medical Projects and skills training has impacted thousands of lives.

Driven by our mission, ZPF has impacted over 8000 less privileged people including those with disabilities. By providing mobility aids like Wheelchairs, Walkers, Crutches, and Cerebral Palsy Chair, ZPF improves the well-being of these people with disabilities. She improves the quality of education by providing stationeries to aid learning and teaching various vocational skills such as hair making, photography, and soap making. Good Health is facilitated through Medical screening and assessments carried out by medical professionals. Drugs are prescribed where necessary and the Rehabilitation professionals are hands-on to provide therapy service or make referrals.

However, with footprints in Lagos State, Nigeria, Zoe Paris Foundation intends on spreading her borders to other parts of Nigeria, Africa and the world at large being recognized as part of the solution in improving the quality of lives of less privileged people including those living with disabilities.
